UNESCO HEADQUARTERS ENTRANCE

Events of the last few years have forced UNESCO to rethink its entrance security

The new building needed to fit in with the existing architecture of Zehrfuss, Nervi and Breuer, built in 1958

The design is the result of a process to create a complete space with few materials and few surfaces

More than a building, it is a continuity of the perimeter fence

This perfect glazed parallelepiped contrasts against the curving Place de Fontenoy and the crescent formed by the Breuer and Zehrfuss building
