The U-shaped building is situated in the zurich Seefeld area. It's typology pursues the traditional structures with an urban facade situated directly at the street and a private curtyard on the back side. The design and the materials of the street facade subordinates to the neighbouring houses along the Dufourstrasse.
The flats are rooted in the late-nineteenth-century living in Zurich. An entrance hall is part of every flat. From this central room every other room is affiliated. Classical themes like an enfilade along the facade or diagonal visual references further enrich the living experience.
