Social housing
Our project is part of the new Trignac mixed development area. This area has been planed with the idea of neutral impact on the environment. In the heart of Nantes-St Nazaire metropolis, the project context is really attractive, between Atlantique ocean and the inland regions of the Loire river.
The project is based on program intentions and forms a L-shape on the site. This current form allows the project to bord the site on bondaries and protects it from the Rue de Normandie. This limit is shaped as a large balcony overhanging the adjacent park. A wooden batten garden takes place in the middle of the site. Several pathways cross through the parcel, this porosity ensure continuity of paedestrian walkways.
The specific project location, as a conrnerstone, gives him a distinctive character wich takes the form of open or closed loggias disposed alternately on a push/pull game. More than a way to afford privacy, loggias are seen as an housing extension. It gives to the project an urban presence and a seaside spirit.
