Volano, new processes of living
The historic center of Volano, borgo, with its richness and spatial complexity, its character and its ability to give continuity to a rhythmic sequence of public and private spaces,forms the starting point of the project proposal.
The new design defines, to an urban scale, a connection between the main areas of Community interest through the continuity of pedestrian walkways that link the area of the town hall and the old town with the park Des Tor. The built surface is compacted, minimizing the land occupation and energy consumption, providing the space of the courtyard around which the entire project structure. The court, core of the project is a new piece of the city between the borgo and the park, a meeting place ables of hosting small events related to the territory and space of conviviality among citizens.
The buildings that form the court are divided into five types that allow multiple residential solutions. Their composition may change depending on the needs of the market.
