Un sistema di corpi solidi che orbita attorno ad una stella.
A system made by solids corps floating around their star.
Nasce a partire dalla reinterpretazione geometrica e poetica di un sistema di corpi celesti che, come loro, si muove e reagisce alle sollecitazioni dell’ambiente in cui si trova.
Sospeso asimmetricamente, in equilibrio precario si rivela e muta in funzione del tempo che scorre.
La calotta in vetro lucido è blu come la volta celeste, contiene una stella ed i suoi pianeti di diverse forme e natura. Il diffusore invece è frutto di un processo di sinterizzazione del nylon.
Tramite una stampa 3d è stato possibile realizzare il pattern sulla faccia interna che appare solo quando la lampada viene accesa in un ambiente buio.

This lighting system comes from the geometric and poetic reinterpretation of a celestial bodies system that. In the same way, this system moves and reacts to the environment in which it is placed.
Asymmetrically suspended, it reveals itself and changes according to the time passing.
The polished glass cover is blue like the sky. It contains a star and its planets with different shapes. The diffuser is instead made out of sintered nylon.
Through the 3D printing process it has been possible to make the pattern on the inner face of the diffuser. The pattern appears only when the lamp is turned on in a dark room.
