TETE-DEFENSE, Paris,1982

The form of a reversed arch derives from the contiguous Knit having the shape of a normal arch, thus suggesting a complementarity, but it leads also to a deeper signification, in relationship with the Arc de Triomphe, which is on the same axis of the long avenue. This is another example of the “reversal” present in so many Mazzucconi's works, to be intended not as a provocation but as the longing for the creation of new values, replacing the false ones of the present world.
