EDIFICIO BANORTE REVOLUCION
Located in the south part of the city this 19, 440 square meters building houses Technical and service areas as well as parking and office spaces.
The project consists of a cylinder, perforated in the middle and containing an enormous helicoid slab that provides twelve levels of parking, which represents 90% of the program. The design allows for natural lighting and ventilation of the interior, and the circular plan makes for maximum efficiency and optimal functioning.
Technical and service areas are housed in three base levels. The two upper levels contain the rest of the program (offices), with the circular plan transitioning to a square in order to optimize the interior spaces.
Vehicular access is by means of two entrance lanes off Avenida Covarrubias and two exit lanes onto Avenida Revolucion. There is a pedestrian esplanade at the intersection of the two avenues, alongside a drop-off area that articulates the connections and entries.The pedestrian connection between the building and the South Tower on the other side or Avenida Covarrubias is by means of a footbridge on the second parking level.
The structure is build of reinforced concrete columns, reticular slabs, and retaining walls. The façades of the wall sections and ground-floor base are of exposed concrete. On the upper levels, a semi-transparent aluminum louver ensures privacy, safety, and sufficient lighting and ventilation.
