House Bankstrasse

The long, narrow plot is located within the village zone of Hochdorf, between Kleinwangenstrasse in the east and Bankstrasse in the West. In the heterogeneous neighborhood and special parcels form the characteristic properties responds with its well-intended geometry.
Parallel to Kleinwangenstrasse shows the new building as an open "front building" with incised loggias and large glass surfaces. In the south, the building is graded in parallel to border and formulated the bedrooms of the apartments on the ground floor and 1st floor. From the Bankstrasse the construction is backwards, here arises on two levels a spacious duplex apartment.
In the attic the subtle detail the building continues: The front building ends in the southeast in an inflated living area and staggered from the northwest. An incised terrace concludes the attic floor.
The slight slope between the road trains enables planning a garage in the terrain, which is accessed from the deeper Bankstreet ago. Access to the north is achieved both by a staircase from the Bankstrasse as well as at ground level from the Kleinwangenstrasse ago.
The multi-unit geometry of the structure is homogenized with a concrete facade. Ribbon windows and closed parts of the wall are the different surface treatment - accented - sandblasted and smooth shelled concrete. The single, large format windows that within the structural geometry of the new building for a balanced facade.
