Situated Agbogbloshie, Spacecraft acts as prototype for an “open” markerspace.
It wants to create from this mechanical parts and e-waste dump a liveable working space. Inside a controversial area, it offers young “makers” a reproducible space to “make and create”. Easily reproducible and cheaply enlargeable, this dynamic structure searches to open-up possibilities for scrap and e-waste workers, to find solutions and new ways of creating from widely available recuperation materials, being electronic or mechanical. It has the possibility to close, as a more private “maker's” studio, or market stall. Without interfering with its daily activity. Part of the “Agbogbloshie Markerspace Platform” this prototype offers the local population a way to new idea’s.
